It's that time of year....
....To head out to the Ohio State Fair. This fair was seriously gigantic. I guess in years past there has been a big competition between Texas and Ohio who could pull of the larger fairs and well, lets just say it was large enough to see all of the interesting types of people out. Eric and I thought it might be more entertaining next year to just park by the entrance and people watch.
We really did have fun though! Our friends from Omaha, the Collettes, met up with us and it was so good to see them. Ethan and their son, Calvin, had some fun together playing with sticks and exploring the petting zoo.
Ethan got to see cows, goats, and Eric was really excited because he got to see some Alpaca (which reminds him of his misison days in Bolivia).
Then, Er was a cute dad and took Ethan on the Bee ride which basically goes around in circles and if you pull on the bar your Bee goes up in the air. Or as Ethan says it, " A Fie" which translates to I'm flying. When he got off the ride he said, "A fun", which meant that he had fun.
Er and I of course ate our way through the fair....watermelon, buttery corn, gyros, nachos, cookies, Yep...we like to eat our way through events ;)
Anyway...here are some pics from the big day at the Fair:

Unfortunately our battery ran out but here is a real short clip of Ethan rocking out to the B-52s. He was having so much fun. I love that little munchkin! And his cute dad too!
